Journaling for Reflection

We offer each resident the recovery journal titled, My First Year in Recovery. It holds 365 pages, one for each day of the first year out of rehab. It comes with an inspiring quote on each page. We encourage journaling after equine and art therapy as well as have a dedicated time every day to concentrate, reflect and write in quiet. It's helpful in processing interesting and sometimes newly surfaced feelings and insights. We also encourage journaling every evening.
